That’s according to ex-West Ham ace Shaka Hislop.

The Liverpool star handed in a transfer request this summer in hope of forcing through a move to the La Liga giants.

Barca made three bids for the Brazil international, 26, but the Reds rejected all offers.

Coutinho started his first game of the campaign on Saturday as Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw at Anfield against Burnley.

Barca have been linked with another move for Coutinho when the transfer window opens in January.

However, former Premier League ace Hislop says Coutinho will stay at Anfield, claiming the playmaker is overpriced.

“After everything that’s happened, if he hasn’t left yet, he isn’t going anywhere,” Hislop said on ESPN FC.

“Liverpool quite clearly don’t want to do business, even at the ridiculous prices that were quoted this summer.

“As a result I don’t see anyone matching that. He was overpriced anyway.

“I don’t see it happening again.”

Coutinho has been vocal on his Liverpool future, revealing he’s honoured to be at Anfield.

Asked if a move to the Nou Camp could happen in the future, Coutinho said: “Not that I know of.

“What happened was a job offer and, in life, sometimes you get interested and sometimes you don’t.

“In my case, everyone knows that I got interested, my family too.

“As I have always said, it is a great offer to receive an offer from such a great club like that but it is also a great honour being here.”
