That’s according to former Arsenal striker turned pundit Charlie Nicholas.

Luiz was given his marching orders for a hefty challenge on Kolasinac.

The Brazil international was spotted smiling after the incident - and Nicholas reckons Luiz’s reaction was arrogant.

Nicholas also says it was as bad as the tackle from Watford defender Miguel Britos earlier this season against Brighton.

Britos was also sent off for his wild challenge.

“That’s arrogance, that’s sheer and utter arrogance,” he said on Sky Sports of Luiz.

“Even when he got sent off he had so much arrogance.

“We touched on the lad at Watford, and that’s as bad. That is as bad because the intent is there to harm, he’s leaving his studs.

“The lad at Watford lunges in so probably it’s worse, it looks worse.

“But that one, he knows exactly how he wants to leave his studs in.

“He’s leaving them in for a reason because he wants to hurt him.

“Just because you’re at a bigger club and you’re a bigger name, it doesn’t mean that you’re arrogance is dismissed.

“I thought it was absolutely disgraceful.”
