Arsene Wenger is not concerned by Borisov's past racism

Arsene Wenger says he has no concerns about BATE Borisov’s past problems with racism.

And he will send his Arsenal youngsters into the Borisov Arena tonight with the message that this is their chance to prove they have a career at the North London club.

Part of Borisov's 13,000-capacity stadium was closed in November 2014 by UEFA after Shaktar Donetsk’s Brazilian striker Adriano accused the fans of “an ugly act”, adding that he “heard rude abuse...racist ones.”

Wenger accepts tonight’s Group H Europa League match will be tough but is confident UEFA are capable of dealing with any issues that may arise.

"Look, no I don’t have any preconceived ideas,” he said.

“I hope that will not happen and UEFA has always been very strong to deal with that.

“BATE have a new stadium, they have a good crowd, so certainly it will be very loud."

Mesut Ozil can no longer be trusted at Arsenal.

That is verdict of former Gunners defender Martin Keown.

The Arsenal legend thinks with the German still undecided on his future, he may not be mentally ready to contribute this season.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Keown explained: “I think he loves playing football, Sanchez, I don't see there's an issue with him.

“Ozil of the two players, are they going to sign, aren't they, is the one I wouldn't trust as much mentally, and I believe he's not playing tonight because the gaffer really can't trust him anymore.

PSG are ready to offer big money for Alexis Sanchez's signature

PSG look set to hijack any potential Manchester City move for Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean star's contract runs out in 2018 and he has told Arsenal he does not wish to sign a new deal.

While Man City were close to signing Sanchez in the summer, they look set to miss out as PSG prepare to offer the 28-year-old a bumper pay packet to sweeten the deal.

According to El Mercurio, PSG are prepared to give Sanchez a £9m signing-on fee in the New Year, if he decides to join the club.

The Arsenal forward's representatives met with PSG chiefs over the summer but the club baulked at his £400,000-a-week demands.

But with Edinson Cavani looking likely to leave after a bust-up with Neymar, PSG may be able to offer Sanchez the bumper deal.
