Mesut Ozil could leave Arsenal for Manchester United or Barcelona

Mesut Ozil would be willing to join Manchester United or Barcelona in 2018.

The Arsenal star’s contract is running down and he is set to weigh up his options.

According to Goal, Jose Mourinho’s United and Barcelona have shown interest in signing Ozil.

And it is said the Gunners playmaker would be willing to join either side, as well as former club Real Madrid.

Inter Milan would not be considered, although staying at Arsenal and penning a new deal is still a possibility.

Chelsea are prepared to fork out £70m in January to finally sign No.1 target Alex Sandro.

Juventus held firm during the summer as the Blues pursued the left wing-back.

No replacement was brought in either, meaning Cesar Azpilicueta has been utilised on the left to give Marcos Alonso time to rest.

However, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea are ready to go back in for Sandro and spend big.

Chelsea may have more luck this time too, as Juventus have not reached an agreement with Sandro over a new contract.

And Mundo Deportivo add a transfer from the Italian giants to Chelsea could finally materialise in January.

Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen’s 18-year-old attacking ace Kai Havertz.

While away on international duty for Germany’s Under-19s this week, the Daily Mail claim Liverpool have been tracking him.

Captain Havertz scored four and assisted another in their 5-1 win over Belarus on Wednesday.

Liverpool sent a scout to the game, with Jurgen Klopp potentially contemplating a move for the Leverkusen youngster.

However, the Daily Mail add United and Arsenal were also represented at Wednesday’s match.

Havertz has been compared to Mesut Ozil, although may be difficult to pursue with his contract running until 2022.
