Cristiano Ronaldo has a big say in transfer decisions at Real Madrid

The Madrid superstar carries plenty of weight when it comes to transfer targets at the Bernabeu.

As a central figure on and off the pitch for Madrid, Ronaldo's view is taken into account.

Some experienced and senior heads such as Sergio Ramos and Marcelo can oppose the Portuguese.

However, beyond the likes of Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos too, many Madrid players do not stand in such high regard.

It is said only manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez command a bigger say in matters than Ronaldo.

And even then, the 32-year-old ocassionally outranks them.

A forward has been on Madrid's agenda with Gareth Bale and Benzema struggling and Ronaldo ageing.

However, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Ronaldo has blocked many deals from happening.

Ex-Barcelona striker Ibrahimovic was linked with a move to the Bernabeu.

Having initially been released by Manchester United following his anterior cruciate ligament injury, Ibrahimovic was free to go elsewhere.

However, it is claimed while signing the Swede became a possibility again in the summer, Ronaldo vetoed his potential arrival.

Ibrahimovic, 36, subsequently rejoined United and is set to return to action in December.

Another recent example of Ronaldo limiting moves for star players is Edinson Cavani.

The PSG goalscorer has clashed with new team-mate Neymar, but Diario Gol add Ronaldo made it clear Madrid should not help resolve conflicts of rivals.

Kylian Mbappe is another rejected by Ronaldo, who knew Zidane saw the French sensation as his heir to the Ballon d'Or.

During previous seasons, Bayern Munich duo Robert Lewandowski and Arturo Vidal were also unwanted by Ronaldo.
