That’s according to Sky Sports pundit and West Brom coach Gerry Francis.

Fellaini suffered a knee ligament issue on international duty with Belgium last week.

It was initially thought he would only be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

However, Fellaini looks set to be out for a longer period of time.

With him missing for United’s crunch clash with Liverpool on Saturday, Francis says the team will miss his arial prowess.

“It’s a big miss, especially for Jose,” Francis said on Sky Sports.

“He likes him a lot and he’s spoken how important he is for the side.

“Certainly he gives you that little bit of steel, he gives you aerial ability.

“He’s someone where you can change your game from Manchester United’s point of view from they’re passing game and going wide game.

“They can actually go longer if a team is sitting deep and causing you problems and you can’t score.

“He can change that because they can get balls in the box and get knock downs which he’s proven over the years to be very successful at during his days at Everton.

“He’s a real threat in the box and yeah I think it will be a big loss I think.”
