That’s the verdict of former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler ahead of Saturday’s showdown between his old side and the Red Devils.

Lukaku set United back a whopping £75m when Jose Mourinho brought him in to lead the line from Everton in July.

His form under the Portuguese has led to suggestions that fee could end up being a bargain with 10 goals coming in just nine appearances to date.

Lukaku will be out to impress at Anfield on Saturday as he looks to fire United back to the top of the Premier League.

Fowler has revealed he never expected the 24-year-old to struggle after completing his move to Manchester.

Fowler told The Telegraph: "I am not surprised how well Lukaku has done.

"He has always had the goals in him and players like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford can make chances for him.

"He is strong and quick, but what is also important about him he is rarely injured. It’s such a big asset to have a player like that who hardly misses games.

"We have seen how good a goalscorer he has become over the years with Everton."

United can open up a 10-point gap to Liverpool if they beat Jurgen Klopp’s men this weekend.
