Mane has been ruled out for six weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered while away on international duty with Senegal.

The flying winger is a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s side and Ince is convinced that they’ll suffer without him.

"Sadio Mane being out for six weeks is bad news for Liverpool,” he told PaddyPower News.

“He's a much bigger loss than Philippe Coutinho would be.

"Mane is much more involved in the game from start to finish. Without him, Liverpool's side is a lot weaker - he's vital."

Mane has been a revelation at Anfield since signing from Southampton for £34m last summer.

The 25-year-old scored 13 goals in his first season and has already found the back of the net three times during this campaign.

Philippe Coutinho has worked his way back into the Liverpool side after a summer of speculation and there will be pressure on him and top scorer Mohamed Salah to fill the void Mane has left.

Liverpool get back underway in the Premier League this afternoon as they host Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
