The England international has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent weeks.

Kane impressed against Real last night as Tottenham held the Spanish giants to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League.

And according to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Ronaldo was impressed with the 24-year-old.

The Real talisman reportedly congratulated Kane and wished him all the best.

And Don Balon say Ronaldo is a huge admirer of the striker and he’d love him to join Real.

Ronaldo would even be open to Kane replacing Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.

Speaking about Kane ahead of Real’s draw against Tottenham in the Champions League last night, Zidane said: “I do not know what will happen in the future.

“He is a key player for Tottenham. He is very good at everything, the best thing is that he always has the goal in his head.”

Kane has also been vocal on his future, revealing he could end up playing abroad.

He said: “I would never say no or yes. You’d not rule out anything.

“It’s not something I definitely want to do, but you never rule anything out.

“I’m very happy here (at Tottenham), but we’ll see what happens.”
