Jurgen Klopp’s men bounced back from their frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Manchester United last week by destroying Maribor 7-0 away with a much-changed team in the Champions League.

He will hope to carry that form to Wembley, where Spurs are still to reach top form despite recording their first home league victory of the season against Bournemouth last week.

Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Nathaniel Clyne are all still absent for Klopp, but he has several headaches selection-wise after Trent Alexander-Arnold, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all impressed in mid-week.

A victory over Spurs could move the Reds as high as fourth depending on Saturday’s results, and would help put them back into Champions League qualification contention.
