Marco Asensio is open to joining Manchester United.

The Real Madrid ace has started seven La Liga games under Zinedine Zidane this season.

However, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Asensio wants to be a focal part of Real’s attack.

They say the Spain international wants to hold talks with Real at the end of the season over his future.

Diario Gol claim United, Manchester City and PSG made moves for Asensio in the summer but the winger wasn’t interested.

However, if the talks with Real don’t go to plan and he isn’t given a more important role under Zinedine Zidane, he could quit the Bernabeu.

Ross Barkley will leave Everton but he isn’t good enough for Arsenal or Tottenham, Toffees legend Alan Stubbs claims.

Barkley, 23, is out of contract at the end of the season and his Everton future remains up in the air.

And Stubbs reckons Barkley will leave Everton but he wouldn’t get in Arsenal or Tottenham’s starting XI.

“I saw that Tottenham wanted him over the summer and I can see why they like him but I can’t see Ross displacing Dele Alli,” Stubbs exclusively told Starsport.

“Ross’ next move is one that will be crucial to his career and his development.

“You look at Arsenal, could he replace Ozil, Ramsey, Sanchez? Is he going to play ahead of them? Probably not.

“It’s a difficult one for Barkley. I’d love to see him stay. Ross is someone that Everton needs. He has a lot to offer.

“Do I think he’ll stay? Probably not, it’s looking like we’ll lose him, whether that’s in January or he runs his contract out until the end of the season.”

Chelsea could make a move for Arsenal star Jack Wilshere.

The England international’s Gunners future is up in the air with his contract running out at the end of the season.

And the Daily Mail say Chelsea and Manchester City could make a move for the 25-year-old if he isn’t handed a new deal at Arsenal.
