Arsenal without Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil; Eden Hazard on bench for Chelsea

Alexis Sanchez has only been named on the bench while Mesut Ozil misses out completely as Arsenal make the trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.

Sanchez has started two games so far after missing the opening weeks of the season through injury, and is only named as a sub after playing the full 90 minutes of Arsenal's 3-1 win over Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday. Arsenal Wenger confirmed that Ozil is ruled out of the squad injured, with a knee problem reported.

Petr Cech returns in goal in place of David Ospina, while Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding are replaced by Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny at the back.

Sead Kolasinac is in the starting lineup after being on the scoresheet against Cologne, and there are places for Aaron Ramsey, Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck.

Chelsea make three changes from the team that beat FK Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League, with David Luiz, Victor Moses and Alvaro Morata in for Andreas Christensen, Davide Zappacosta and Michy Batshuayi.

Eden Hazard is again on the bench as he continues to build up his fitness after summer ankle surgery. Manager Antonio Conte says the Belgium international is close to returning to the starting XI.
