Son Heung-Min starts in place of Harry Kane; Eric Bailly back for Man United

Son Heung-Min will lead the Tottenham Hotspur attack at Manchester United in place of the injured Harry Kane.

Tottenham talisman Kane is missing with a hamstring strain so Son will play as a false nine.

Moussa Sissoko, Ben Davies and Eric Dier return to the team, while Kieran Trippier and Davinson Sanchez drop to the bench in the other changes from the 4-1 win over Liverpool.

United boss Mourinho identified Sanchez as Ajax's weak link ahead of the Europa League final in May and this is the first big match he has missed. Dier could play in midfield or as part of a back three.

Mourinho, meanwhile, has picked three centre-backs, with Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and fit again Eric Bailly in his starting XI.

Bailly has missed the last four games with a groin injury while Jones was only fit enough for the bench against Swansea in midweek.

It means Mourinho has stuck with the system he used against Swansea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young have been picked as the wing-backs with Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera in midfield.

Mourinho has picked a front three of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has been on the bench for the last two games, Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.

Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof are not in the squad after both featured against Swansea.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Bailly, Jones, Smalling, Valencia, Herrera, Matic, Young, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lukaku.

Manchester United substitutes: Romero, Blind, Darmian, McTominay, Mata, Lingard, Martial.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Alli, Son.

Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Vorm, Rose, Sanchez, Trippier, Dembele, Nkoudou, Llorente.
