Liverpool ready to put things right in Manchester United test - Mignolet

Simon Mignolet has said he believes Liverpool can get their season back on track when rivals Manchester United visit Anfield after the international break.

Liverpool were frustrated again on Sunday when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Newcastle, leaving them with only one win in their last seven matches in all competitions.

Jurgen Klopp's side had led through a fine Philippe Coutinho strike but were pegged back when Joel Matip's challenge saw the ball cannon off Joselu's shin and roll past Mignolet.

And the goalkeeper told the official Liverpool website: "I think we played well -- we deserved to get the victory, we created chances.

"But it is how it is at this moment in time, we have to take it.

"It's disappointing and frustrating but we have to keep looking forward and make sure, when we come back after the international break, that we go again against Manchester United, which is a big game and something to turn things right for us.

"Everybody will be away in another environment and when they come back we've got that one to look forward to. We will be ready for it."

Liverpool had 17 shots -- two on target -- and 68 percent of possession against Newcastle, but failed to make their dominance count.

Klopp said: "It's difficult. You need single moments. I didn't see a moment where they could have scored the second. I hope the boys come back healthy from international duty and then we will go again."
