Jordan Henderson leaves Liverpool game with apparent injury

Jordan Henderson left Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Arsenal early in the first half with a leg injury on Friday night.

Henderson pulled up in the ninth minute after chasing Mesut Ozil, and physios treated his right hamstring on the pitch before he limped off.

James Milner came on a few minutes later to replace Henderson, who now appears unlikely to feature over the rest of the busy holiday fixture period.

Liverpool next play at home against Swansea on Boxing Day before hosting Leicester City on Dec. 30 and travel to Burnley two days later.

Manager Jurgen Klopp did not mention Henderson's status after the game, and there was no immediate word from the club other to confirm he left the game injured.

Klopp had rested Henderson in a 0-0 draw with West Brom last week but he returned to the lineup for a 4-0 win against Bournemouth on Sunday. He was starting his 14th league game of the season.
