Toby Alderweireld has told Sky Sports he is enjoying life at Tottenham, although he admits he has yet to receive an offer of a new contract from the club.
Alderweireld, 28, is one of the only members of Tottenham's first team not to have been given a contract extension in the past 18 months and in July he said there was no update on talks to extend his current deal, which expires in 2019.
The Belgium international's advisor, Stijn Francis, said last month that Spurs should offer his client a new contract or let him leave for another club, though Alderweireld insists he is happy at White Hart Lane.
"I had a good conversation with the manager [Mauricio Pochettino]," Alderweireld said. "I told him I'm focused on football, to keep my game up and help the team. That's all I can do. You can see I'm happy there, and I try to help the team, and that's the way I always play football."
Asked if he had been offered a new deal by Spurs, Alderweireld said: "No, like I said, I am focused on football. The rest, I don't know, we will see about that."
Alderweireld is currently on international duty with Belgium along with Tottenham teammate Jan Vertonghen.
Vertonghen could become Belgium's most capped player if he features in the World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday and Cyprus on Tuesday, which would move him ahead of Jan Ceulemans' record of 96 appearances.
"We'll be very proud of him if he achieves this," Alderweireld said. "He will be very proud for himself too. It will be a great honour. Hopefully we can celebrate it."
