United must overcome a 2-0 deficit against Olympiakos at Old Trafford tonight to progress in Europe's elite club competition.

And despite the Red Devils being Chelsea's Premier League rivals, Mourinho insists he wants to see David Moyes' men remain in Europe.

"I keep saying the same," Mourinho said. "I believe they can do it and I hope they do it tomorrow.

Mourinho said it was important for his team to make the quarter-finals, but is not bothered who Chelsea draw in the next round.

"We are there (in the last eight) - but it's different from last season because last season was the Europa League at a different level," Mourinho told ITV.

"To come from the Europa League to the quarter-finals of the Champions League is important for the club, important for the players.

"We are a Champions League club and now we are among the best eight, the best clubs in the world, and we are there. The players deserve to be there.

"All the big candidates to win the competition, welcome to any one of them.

"We wait for the draw. It doesn't matter who."
