ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has offered some advice to his Manchester United counterpart Louis van Gaal on how to adapt to the Premier League.

Van Gaal took over from David Moyes during the summer and is on track to return United to the Champions League, with the club sitting fourth in England's top flight.
However, the Dutchman’s style of play has come under some heavy criticism this season, with Wenger claiming he needs to find the right tactic to accomodate his new players.
“You adapt first to your club, to you team,” the Gunners boss said.
“After that, the players who play for you are used to the Premier League, so it’s less a problem to adapt to the league, it’s more adaptation to a style of play.

It’s important you know well the players you have
“It’s important you know well the players you have. I believe Man United has an obstruction because they have many new players this year.
“When I came here, I had a stable team that was used to playing in the Premier League.”
On Van Gaal’s recent criticism, Wenger added: “Today it is like that. The rule is that you have to criticise somebody or you don’t sleep well at night.
“Because we are in a public job we have to accept that.”
