However, he refused to suggest whether the club will make any major acquisitions in the window.
"We have to try to do that on both sides of course," Wenger said.
"No, what it will take for us is if you look well at our season we had many players injured together for long periods this season.
"What it will take first is to have them all together for as long as possible and have not many injuries at the same time."
