Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho drops striker hint ahead of Everton clash

RADAMEL FALCAO could make his debut from the start for Chelsea against Everton after scoring his first goal for the club before the international break.

The Colombian has come off the bench in all four of Chelsea's Premier League matches and scored with a diving header against Crystal Palace in their 2-1 defeat two weeks ago.

Whilst first choice striker Diego Costa has also scored just one goal this season, he was criticised in the Spainish press for his performances with the national team.

And Mourinho praised Falcao's professionalism and suggested he has a chance to start the lunchtime clash against the Toffees.

"Of course he has (a chance)," Mourinho said.

"When a player is on the bench and is coming in every game, because he's coming (on) in every game that we play.

"He's a player that is there. The difference between being on the bench and playing is not a big distance to be in the starting line-up.

"Yes, he works hard, he works very professionally every day, so yes he can start a game for sure."
