Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy is on his way to Bordeaux

Debuchy has been allowed to look for a move away from the Emirates to get regular first-team football ahead of Euro 2016.

The 30-year-old was linked with a shock move to Manchester United earlier today.

But the Red Devils look set to miss out on Debuchy along with Aston Villa and Sunderland - who the Frenchman turned down having previously played for their bitter rivals Newcastle.

According to the Daily Star, Debuchy has agreed a loan move back to his homeland with Bordeaux.
