Arsene Wenger confirms either Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Santi Cazorla could return against Norwich

The Spain international last played against the Canaries late last year, with an initial knee injury exacerbated by a later Achilles problems.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has not played since limping off against Barcelona more than two months ago.

“Whether we can play Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is not decided,” Wenger said.

“One could be involved. Santi Cazorla has already practised now for two weeks with the team. Alex is the first week. So one of the two.”

Wenger admitted that after a season of injury problems, it was ironic that all his stars look set to be available for the European Championships.

“There's not much time to go, but the players are all available now, so it looks good for the summer,” he smiled.

“I mean the European Championship. It's good - the players were not injured accidentally. Most of them were traumatic injuries, so it's good they are going to the Euros.”
