Jose Mourinho on Man U: "Forget the last three years"

The Portuguese tactician signed a four-year deal in May when he succeeded Louis van Gaal.

Mourinho has never spent more than three seasons at one club.

But it seems he has plans to create a dynasty at Old Trafford.

“I have the contract I have and for that the owners are happy,” Mourinho said

“To give me a new contract I will be happy to do that because that is what I want at this moment in my career, but I think it depends on many things.

Jose Mourinho could buck his managerial pattern at Manchester United

“I will try to do my work to make the owners realise that I am the right guy for this job. But in this moment I’ve just played Wigan.”

United, who take on Borussia Dortmund in a pre-season friendly today (1pm) face Bournemouth in their opening game of the season on Sunday, August 14.

Mourinho will be hoping to deliver the title to United next term, something he has done in each of his first seasons managed at his respective clubs.
