Bournemouth vs Manchester United - Premier League match preview

Anthony Martial is reportedly fearful over his place in the Manchester United team.

The 20-year-old forward was substituted on 70 minutes in the Community Shield victory over Leicester on Sunday.

And following the arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in attack, his place in the first XI is no longer guaranteed.

According to The Sun, Martial is worried swapping with Red Devils prodigy Marcus Rashford will become a regular occurrence this season.

The England international is expected to continuing featuring with Jose Mourinho under pressure to give him minutes, potentially at the expense of Martial.

United boss Mourinho is reportedly set on partnering Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick together in midfield.

The Red Devils lined up with a 4-2-3-1 formation in the Community Shield, and United are likely to continue with the same approach going forward.

The addition of £89m world-record signing Paul Pogba will see him form part of the two in United’s middle.

According to the Mirror, the experienced head of Carrick is on course to pair up with the France star in favour of other options Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera.

“We have Michael Carrick, a 34 or 35-year-old-man,” Mourinho told BT Sport. “[He is] Stable, intelligent, to play as one man in front of the defenders, give us all the stability, he knows everything. Tactically, very intelligent.”

EA Sports have signed a big three-year deal with United which will see FIFA 17 given exclusive access to the club’s biggest stars.

Pogba and Wayne Rooney are set to form part of the game, appearing in the new single-player story mode called ‘The Journey’.

FIFA 17 gaming pods will be at Old Trafford and the Aon Training Complex. Fans will also have unique access to the team in the online elements, according to EA Sports.

Rival game PES 2017 have been dealt a huge blow from the partnership, with FIFA 17 to be released on all consoles on September 27.

While fans will be able to experience linking up with Pogba on the game, United’s new signing could be seen for the first time since making his stunning comeback against Bournemouth on Sunday (1.30pm).
