JOSE MOURINHO claimed a foul on Anthony Martial not given in the lead-up to Watford’s opening goal today was “obvious” - but refused to outright blame the referee for Manchester United’s 3-1 defeat.

Martial appeared to be tripped by Miguel Britos before Etienne Capoue slid home his first-half opener.
United hit back after the break through Marcus Rashford but goals in the last 10 minutes from Juan Camilo Zuniga and Troy Deeney handed the Hornets victory.

“I’m always concerned when we don’t get the result we want so that’s an obvious situation,” Mourinho said.
“I think no debate. I think no controversy.
“I think that is an obvious situation, like it was obvious last week against Man City but it’s something I cannot control and I can’t even be critical.”
