Henrikh Mkhitaryan could start for Manchester United tonight

The midfielder is in the squad for tonight’s Europa League clash with Feyenoord and could be handed a rare start.

Mkhitaryan was pictured travelling to the Lowry with his team-mates this morning.

Despite currently residing at the hotel he drove to Old Trafford to meet up with the squad and took the coach back.

The Armenia international has not started a game since the Manchester derby on September 10 - and has featured just once since then.

He has featured only four times in the league - three times as a substitute - once in the Europa League and once in the Community Shield, both from the bench.

"He has to do more. It’s as simple as that,” Mourinho said earlier this month.

"We have big expectations at this club, lots of players for these positions and he has to play better than Mata, Lingard, Martial – he has to play better than them. It’s as simple as that.”

He was left out of the squad last weekend as United drew with Arsenal but could get his chance tonight to show United fans - and Mourinho - what he can do.
