Mourinho praises Man United for win against Tottenham
Jones had been out injured since January this year and returned to the Manchester United line-up last month.
United are unbeaten in the seven matches he has played this season in all competitions while Rojo also received praise for his step-up in performances under Mourinho.
While the duo have not played much football alongside each other Mourinho believes the pair are beginning to show their potential.

“Jones and Rojo have been doing very well in defence," said Mourinho.
“They are playing well and better than ever, so now we have a third central defender to rotate.
“Hopefully we can manage with them three in the two positions.

“I’m surprised how well Jones has coped but he’s recovered first with people he trusts and then he was working really hard with one of my guys fore three weeks before he joined us and had a big improvement in his physical condition.
“Now he looks fast and agile. I don’t remember when he last played six matches, a bit like Rojo – he also looks free of injury.
