Arsenal fans have been calling for Arsene Wenger to leave at the end of the season in their droves.

The 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night was the final straw for many supporters who took to the streets to protest against the Frenchman.

And Wenger has today admitted he will take into consideration the feelings of the fans when he comes to decide on his future at the club.

"I worked very hard for 20 years to make our fans happy and when you lose I understand they are not," Wenger said.

"You have to accept different opinions. Yes, of course, you consider everything."

Wenger has just four months remaining on his current deal and is yet to announce his plans for next season.

The 67-year-old is expected to make known his decision next month and he denied he had already informed the Arsenal players about his future.

"My decision is to focus on the next game and be absolutely sure we respond well on Saturday," Wenger added.

Arsenal currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League - 16 points behind leaders Chelsea - and host non-league Lincoln in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday (5.30pm).
