Neymar to Man United: Jose Mourinho reveals what he asks for at Old Trafford

JOSE MOURINHO insists he has not even asked Manchester United chiefs about signing Neymar from Barcelona - as it is impossible.

Neymar shows off his INCREDIBLE skills during training

Claims in Spain earlier this week suggested the United boss has held talks with the superstar winger.

It was said the Red Devils are prepared to meet his £173million buy-out clause at the Nou Camp and offer him a staggering £415,000-a-week contract.

However, the Brazil captain outlined his happiness at Barcelona during the international break, branding his present situation as the best moment of his career.

United want to bolster their frontline this summer, with Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku on Mourinho’s wishlist.

And it appears the Portuguese boss accepts landing Neymar is too difficult a transfer to pull off, even for Manchester United.

“I always try to be objective and pragmatic with the clubs and ask the clubs for what can be given to me - Neymar is absurd,” Mourinho told ESPN.

“A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar.”

Neymar is seriously battling Lionel Messi for the Ballon d’Or this year, having enjoyed a stellar campaign in La Liga.

His Champions League exploits against Paris Saint-Germain also highlighted the 25-year-old’s value to Barcelona.

And Jose Mourinho believes Neymar will eclipse the Argentina international at the Catalan club.

He added: “Although Messi is still a young player with years to go, he is already 30, and Neymar will be the great player of Barcelona after Messi.

“I think (trying to sign him is like) going to try to break into a safe, impossible.”
