Man United boss Jose Mourinho: Why this job does not suit me

JOSE MOURINHO insists he would not be fit for the Brazil job and wants a less stressful role after Manchester United.

Mourinho says managing Man United has been his hardest job

The Manchester United boss is contracted at Old Trafford until 2019 but has indicated he wishes to extend his stay.

Since arriving in the summer after being sacked by Chelsea last season, Mourinho has already claimed two pieces of silverware.

And a rebuilding process is well underway at United with a long-term project in place.

Jose Mourinho is not keen on managing Brazil in the future

Having managed the likes of Real Madrid and Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho’s stock is high in the world of football.

But the pressures of leading Brazil is something even he does not jump at.

Tite is currently enjoying much success of the national team, with qualification for the 2018 World Cup already secured.

Even far in the future though, Portuguese coach Mourinho says only a Brazilian can really manage them.

Jose Mourinho wants to stay at Manchester United beyond his three-year contract

"I think following Manchester United I need an easier job than Manchester United, and coaching the Brazilian team should be more difficult,” Mourinho told ESPN

“Obviously it would be exciting, any coach wants to work with the best clubs and with the best.

“The Brazilian team is obviously a leader of success, obviously with talent, no matter what the generation, talent always appears.

"But I have to confess that it must be difficult, in every Brazilian there is a coach, in each journalist there is a better coach than the coach.

“I think it must be a difficult country to work for, but also a passionate one.

"But I recognise that Brazilian national team is for Brazilian coach.”
