INCREDIBLE saves by Manchester United's David De Gea

, 26, has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer.

Real have been chasing the Spain international for some time, with his proposed transfer to the Bernabeu falling through in 2015 due to an administrative error.

The La Liga giants have apparently made him their No 1 transfer target as they bid to replace Keylor Navas between the sticks.

De Gea even appeared to bid farewell to United after posting a picture of himself applauding to fans this month.

Alongside the image he wrote: “Thank you for your unconditional support.”

Real Madrid are in no rush to sign Manchester United keeper David De Gea.

But Spanish outlet El Confidencial claim there has been a twist in De Gea's proposed transfer.

It is suggested that the newly-crowned Spanish champions are not panicking over the signing of De Gea this summer.

Navas has proved himself for  in recent games and his displays have impressed Zinedine Zidane.

And it is said that if Navas does start next season as their No 1 it would not be a disaster.

De Gea apparently wants the deal to be sorted out in the next few weeks, so he can move into the house he owns in Madrid.

But with Real now appearing to be in no rush to sign him, this has caused De Gea to question the transfer going ahead.

However, El Confidencial say his agent Jorge Mendes has reassured his client over the situation and is working hard to reach a deal.

This could now prompt De Gea to stay at , with Jose Mourinho already outlining his intentions of keeping him at the club beyond this summer.

"David? I think the first match against LA Galaxy in pre-season in Los Angeles," Mourinho told Sky Sports.

"I hope to play Joel Pereira against Crystal Palace, I hope to play Sergio in the final and hopefully we don’t have problems with these two keepers.

"And David is top of the world and we want to keep top of the world."
