Manchester United have been linked with a move for Forsberg in recent days as a potential alternative to Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic.

Reports suggest the Red Devils have even contacted the Swede's representatives and they are preparing a £44million move.

Meanwhile, his team-mate Keita has been the subject of interest from Liverpool.

The Reds' offers of £57m and £66m have already been turned down this summer with RB Leipzig determined to keep hold of the Guinea international.

Naby Keita is not for sale, says RB Leipzig chief Ralph Rangnick

It is important for us that these two players play next season with us. And I can assure you that. This is the only thing I know for sure

But Liverpool, along with United and their pursuit of Forsberg, don't seem to be getting the message, and Rangnick has reminded any potential suitors the duo won't be going anywhere during the transfer window.

“It is important for us that these two players play next season with us. And I can assure you that. This is the only thing I know for sure,” he said.

“Even if there are still five more offers, this will not change our position. Perhaps not all have understood this.

"Even if the player were a classic car, I would not sell him as a classic car. He [Keita] knows that I appreciate him a lot.”

With Keita not for sale this summer, Liverpool could look again a year from now and Express Sport understands Keita will have a £48m release clause in his contract next season.

Forsberg, who scored eight goals and proved 19 assists in the league last season, is under contract with Leipzig until 2022.
