Keita has been subject of multiple bids from Liverpool this summer but the Reds look to have conceded defeat.

Leipzig have always stood firm in their stance that the Guinea international was not for sale in this transfer window and they look to have got their wish.

Liverpool had offers of around £60million rejected but Keita will be available for significantly less than that next year.

He has a release clause of £48million which kicks in at the end of this season and Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth says Liverpool will look to activate that.
