SADIO MANE makes his first appearance of pre-season for Liverpool this afternoon against Hertha Berlin.

Liverpool's Mane returns into team training

Mane has been out injured since April with a knee problem but is now fit enough to start against the German side today.

Emre Can also makes his first appearance after being given an extended break following his participation in the Confederations Cup with Germany.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has named a strong team with Simon Mignolet, Joel Matip and Adam Lallana included.

Philippe Coutinho, who has been the subject of intense interest from Barcelona, also starts and captains the team.
