Mohamed Salah video: Liverpool ace scores with stunning lob from Philippe Coutinho assist

MOHAMED SALAH gave another glimpse of his quality with an outrageous finish against Hertha Berlin.

With Liverpool already leading 2-0 thanks to Dominic Solanke and Georginio Wijnaldum, Coutinho surged through the middle of the park and played a perfectly weighted pass over the top for Salah.

The Egyptian burst away from Hertha's defenders and with goalkeeper Rune Jarstein running out, the former Roma winger lifted the ball over his head and into the empty net.

The goal will delight manager Jurgen Klopp in particular with Salah and Coutinho early signs of a good relationship.

It was Salah's third of pre-season already and Klopp is confident he will cope with the demands of playing for a club like Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah celebrates scoring Liverpool's third goal with Jordan Henderson

He said: “This is a player who has played in the Premier League, played in the top league in Italy, played in the Champions League.

“He knows how to deal with pressure. And that is just in the domestic game. He is probably the most important and special player for his country at the moment - playing for Egypt brings pressure to perform because of the massive support and interest in the team.

“Mo has carried this pressure as an international and risen to it.

“There is no extra pressure on him because of a fee and even if there was, from the outside I mean, this is a player with the mentality, attitude and experience to deal with it and thrive.

“I love his attitude - it is world class. So, the expectation is that he maintains the world class attitude that has helped make him such an important player in European club football.”
