Man Utd in talks with TINDER: Dating site willing to pay Red Devils £12m a year

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly held discussions with online dating service Tinder over a sponsorship deal.

Manchester United have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer as Jose Mourinho aims to turn them into one of Europe's biggest heavyweights once again. 

The Red Devils have so far acted quickly to tie up moves for the likes of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.

However, Ed Woodward is also looking to strengthen off the field, as well as on it.

Dating website Tinder has risen to prominence since its creation in 2012, and is currently used by a huge £50million people each day.

And the Daily Mail claim they could be about to become the club's latest sleeve sponsors.

Tinder are supposedly willing to pay the Red Devils a huge £12m to have their logo on their left sleeve, which is currently free of advertising.

They are said to be targeting a more mainstream image following and believe the partnership could provide new ways for Manchester United supporters to connect with each other.

Should United strike a deal with the dating app, then they will become the second club to do so.

Serie A giants Napoli are already in partnership with Tinder, with their striker Arkadiusz Milik at the forefront of that.

Tinder's offer of £12m a year would be the biggest sleeve deal in the top flight this season.
