Manchester United arrive back in the UK after their win over Sampdoria
Jose Mourinho’s squad finished their pre-season schedule with a 2-1 win over Sampdoria at the Aviva Stadium last night, and touched down in Manchester during the early hours of this morning.
New signing Nemanjan Matic and his Manchester United team-mates arrived back home at 1.30am, and were greeted in the terminal by several patient fans searching for photos and autographs.
While the majority of the team headed for their beds, Romelu Lukaku hurried to catch a connecting flight back to Belgium.
The Red Devils have won six out of seven of their matches this summer, and now have a couple of days off before the Super Cup final against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
