Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from Manchester United

Leeds have been linked with a move for Borthwick-Jackson this summer as the Champions side continue their recruitment drive.

New manager Thomas Christiansen has already signed nine players this summer in a bid to bolster his side's promotion chances.

But the boss is still seeking further defensive recruits.

A move for Borthwick-Jackson has been proposed but the Yorkshire Post report that no bid has yet been officially made.

Manchester United are supposedly receptive to a move, having sent Borthwick-Jackson on own to Wolves last season.

The player struggled to get into the Wolves side, however, and returned to United's Carrington training base this summer.

The Yorkshire Post add that Leeds are in need of left-back cover following Charlie Taylor's move to Burnley.

Gaetano Berardi is a regular right-back who can play on the opposite flank when required.
