Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on the versatile defender who has a £36.1million release clause.

Barca don't want to sell but are powerless to stopping the Spaniard from leaving if a bid triggers the clause.

And Spanish newspaper Sport claim Juventus have also earmarked the player as a viable target.

According to the report, ambition is the key reason why Roberto is considering his Barcelona future.

The 25-year-old played 47 games for Barca last season - primarily at right-back.

But he is not guaranteed game time at the Nou Camp this season and is supposedly considering his options.

Sport claim Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has insisted the Blues sign him, with the wing-back positions a priority for the Italian.

United, meanwhile, are said to have had a bid for Barca academy product rejected.

As for Juve, they appear to have successfully fended off interest in their star full-back Alex Sandro - but still want additional defensive cover.

The report claims all three suitors could double Roberto's current wages but game time, rather than money, is his main objective.
