Sanchez’s future at Arsenal remains up in the air with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain determined to snap him up.

Express Sport understands PSG are primed to launch a £35million bid in order to pair him with superstar signing Neymar for the forthcoming campaign.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are hoping they can get a deal done given his determination to work under Pep Guardiola again.

Guardiola managed the 28-year-old at Barcelona earlier in the winger’s career and would love for him to spearhead a Premier League title charge next season.

However, the Daily Mail claim Sanchez may yet stay at Arsenal.

Alexis Sanchez is now more likely to consider staying at Arsenal

It is said the Gunners have agreed to meet his wage demands by offering him a deal with a weekly wage of £300,000.

Alexis Sanchez had supposedly previously told the club he would only consider remaining if they forked out such a high amount.

And, now they have put an offer on the table, their chances of signing him have been significantly boosted.

The Daily Mail add, however, it remains to be seen whether he pens an extension.

Given his stunning displays last season, where he netted 30 times across all competitions, the Gunners will be hoping their star man puts this summer’s transfer saga behind him.

And club legend Ian Wright thinks Arsenal can win the biggest trophies on offer this season - but only if their star man stays put.

“I’d love to keep him and add more to it,” Wright told Sky Sports.

“With players like Sanchez, that’s how you’ll end up challenging for big trophies.

“He said he wants to win the Champions League. In his mind, he doesn’t think he’ll win it with Arsenal.

“He obviously thinks that hence why he hasn’t signed a new deal.”
