The Emirates will be rocking tonight when Arsenal face off against Leicester City in the opening game of the Premier League season.

The match marks the first time in history that a season has started on a Friday and both sets of fans will be desperate for their team to make a positive start to the new campaign. 

The match kicks off at 7.45pm tonight (Friday August 7).

How to watch Arsenal v Leicester

The Arsenal-Leicester game will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting at 7pm. 

Football fans will also be able to stream the match live on consoles, mobiles and computers using SkyGo.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare has defended Riyad Mahrez ahead of the clash as doubts over his future persist.

The winger has agitated for a move out of the club, but Shakespeare insists he remains “focused and driven”.

Shakespeare said: "He hasn't given me one problem where I've had to pull him to the side and say, 'Oi, pull your finger out.'

"Until we a get a bid that's suitable for Leicester then he stays, and if he stays focused then he'll be considered for selection.” 

Former Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is likely to start for the Foxes after recovering from a toe injury. 

The 20-year-old will lead Leicester attack after completing a £25million transfer in the summer.
