Monaco have seen their Ligue 1 title-winning side picked apart this summer by Premier League clubs.

Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy both jumped ship to Manchester City while Tiemoue Bakayoko opted for a move to Chelsea.

And it seems the exodus has not yet finished with Manchester United target Fabinho claiming he also wants to leave the club.

"I feel good, there is nothing to say about my situation, the club knows my will," he said after Monaco's 4-1 win over Dijon.

"I hope we will continue this way and that Monaco will still be okay."

Fabinho's claims will make good reading for United, who have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old all summer.

The Brazil international is a versatile midfielder who can also play at right-back - an area the Red Devils need to strengthen.

And Jose Mourinho admitted last week his potential fourth signing would be a player who operates "from the sides".

"We got a centre midfielder, we got a striker," Mourinho said before Sunday's Premier League win over West Ham.

"Obviously [we wanted] a player for another position playing from the sides.

"But we have players and if you cannot strengthen the team in these areas, we have people that we trust and we go for it."

Fabinho made 55 appearances for Monaco last term in all competitions and is under contract with the French champions until June 2021.
