MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Paul Pogba must score at least 10 goals in the Premier League this season and could bag as many as 15, according to pundit Alan Pardew.

Pogba has netted in each of Manchester United’s first two league games this season, the 4-0 victories over West Ham and Swansea.

The Frenchman only scored five times in 30 league appearances last season following his then world-record £89million move from Juventus.

But Pardew is expecting Pogba to have a much better campaign this time around and reckons he could reach 15 under Jose Mourinho.

“The minimum, I would be expecting 10 goals from him,” Pardew said on Sky Sports.

I think Paul Pogba could get 10-15 in this team

“I think he could get 10-15 in this team.

“When you see this guy and the ability that he has and he does these Snapchats of his tricks and everything, he should be doing Snapchats of his goals and assists, that’s what the game is measured on.

“He’s definitely going to have a better year with those numbers, for sure he is.

Paul Pogba impressed in Man Utd's 4-0 win over Swansea today

“He’s at United, he’s settled in, he’s got friends around him now, he’s got class players, he’s got Matic sitting in there doing this nice little job for him.

“So it’s a perfect scenario for him to go on and get that kind of figure, 10-15 goals.”

Manchester United's next league fixture is against Leicester next Saturday (5.30pm) back at Old Trafford.
