Newcastle transfer news: West Ham and Arsenal offer Benitez chance to sign duo

WEST HAM and Arsenal have put England duo Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere on the market in the hope Newcastle snap them up.

Carroll has endured an injury-ravaged career at the Hammers and manager Slaven Bilic has had enough.

And Arsenal are keen to offload Wilshere with his contract up next summer.

That is according to the Sun on Sunday, who claim West Ham are ready to sell Carroll, while Arsenal have offered Wilshere on loan.

Hammers co-owner David Sullivan has put Carroll on the market and is hoping Newcastle come in for him.

Arsenal want to send Jack Wilshere out on loan

Carroll, 28, left Toon for Liverpool back in 2011 but after a failed stint on Merseyside headed to West Ham in a £15million deal two years later.

Rafael Benitez is stills searching for new players before the transfer window closes and Carroll would likely jump at an emotional return to his boyhood club.

As for Wilshere, the midfielder appears to have dropped out of Arsene Wenger’s plans and the Sun on Sunday claim Toon are worried over his fitness levels.

Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth but an injury late in the campaign has hampered his pre-season.
