Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has spent £130m this summer

Manchester United have spent £140million on three new players this summer.

Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic have come into the side that finished fifth in the Premier League last season.

United beat Swansea 4-0 yesterday - a repeat score of their victory over West Ham last week.

And former Wales star Hartson praised boss Mourinho for his business in the market.

"They've been very impressive so far. I know it's early days and the opposition will get stiffer," Hartson said on 5Live.

"West Ham last week didn't have much belief going into that game and were beaten fairly comfortably. And again against Swansea.

"So when they go to Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and City naturally the opposition will get stronger.

"The additions that they've been have been very good. Lukaku is a centre-forward who will get you goals.

"He's got over 20 goals in his past three seasons, is a player that Mourinho knows very well from their time together at Chelsea.

Mourinho shows Man Utd confidence before Swansea clash

"Matic is magnificent. What he does is sit and be disciplined in front of the back four and that will allow Pogba to go and play and express himself.

"Like the Pogba we saw at Swansea. He scored a wonderful goal and coveted every blade of grass. Like the Pogba we saw at Juventus.

"We didn't see that last season.  He was trying to do a lot of things himself for Manchester United. This season he's tidied up his game, has a central role within the team and I think they've been very, very impressive.

"Two wins, two clean sheets. Faultless up until now for me."
