Mourinho discusses rumoured Gareth Bale signing

The former Sky Sports pundit has been saying it’s a possibility Bale will leave Real Madrid all summer.

Despite there being just 10 days left of the transfer window, Keys still thinks a transfer could be done.

Writing in his personal blog, Keys said: “Finally, to address an issue I keep getting asked about - Bale to United.

“Transfers aren't a perfect science - but whilst the window remains open that deal has still got a chance and so have the others that there's been so much speculation about.

“I believe we're going to see some really big money spent before the end of August, but exactly where is difficult to be certain about.

“Just watch this space…”

United boss Jose Mourinho previously admitted said it’s “game over” regarding Manchester United’s hopes of signing the Welshman.

Asked if it the pursuit of Bale was finished, Mourinho said: “I think so – clearly the club wants him and he wants the club – game over even before it started – everybody knows he is going to stay.”

Bale also denied any suggestion Madrid have spoken to him about being sold.

He said: “Not that I know of [have Real informed him he can move on].

“I’m just concentrating on my football and I’m not listening to anything.
