Virgil van Dijk has been spotted in Southampton training with the U23s
Former Southampton captain Van Dijk has been subject of transfer talk throughout the summer as Liverpool look to secure a deal for the 26-year-old.
Van Dijk has submitted an official transfer request in a bid to force a move, but Saints are unwilling to part with the Dutch defender.
However Twitter user @SFC_Kristian has posted images online of Van Dijk appearing to train with the Southampton U23s, suggesting the wantaway star could be allowed back into the fold.
