Carabao Cup Draw: Man Utd and Chelsea get home ties, Liverpool travel to face Leicester

LEICESTER will face Liverpool in the pick of the ties of the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United celebrate EFL Cup win

The draw which took place in the early hours of this morning saw the top sides separated from each other when the balls were drawn.

Liverpool, who are yet to win a piece of silverware under Jurgen Klopp, previously reached the final of the EFL Cup where they lost against Manchester City.

Leicester meanwhile have been handed a home tie against Klopp’s men.

Reigning champions Manchester United were afforded what appears to be a very straightforward tie against Championship outfit Burton Albion.

Arsenal won’t have too many complaints as they will face Doncaster.

The League Cup has eluded the Gunners and they lost in the final in 2011 to Birmingham.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will face the winners of Barnsley and Derby in round three.

West Brom will be hoping to knock out Manchester City when they roll into town.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace will be looking for revenge when they face Huddersfield, who they lost 3-0 to in their opening Premier League game.

For the neutrals, Burnley v Leeds could throw up something interesting, especially with Chris Wood to face his former club after completing his move to Turf Moor earlier this week.

And West Ham will be looking to make inroads into the competition after being provided with a favourable home tie against Bolton.
