Arsenal were put to the sword by Liverpool at the weekend as Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge scored in a 4-0 rout at Anfield.

Loris Karius didn’t have a save to make and was probably the biggest threat to Liverpool’s goal with Arsenal failing to register a shot on target.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to leave the Emirates before the transfer window closes tomorrow evening.

Alexis Sanchez could also be on his way out if Manchester City return with a bigger bid after having a £50million offer rejected by Arsenal yesterday.

Only Saed Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette have joined Arsenal this summer.

But former England international-turned pundit Redknapp believes Arsene Wenger faces a mammoth task on building a squad capable of challenging with the Premier League elite.

“The problem you’ve got and I look at the squad of players they’ve got and I don’t know if one or two players help,” Redknapp told Sky Sports’ The Debate show.

“I think it’s six or seven that’s needed and you’re talking two days before the transfer window closes.”

Julian Draxler, a long-term Arsenal target, has once again been linked with a move to the Emirates after being told by Paris Saint-Germain he is up for sale.

But the player’s agent, Roger Wittmann, insists he is going nowhere this summer.
