Mahrez has been released from international duty with Algeria in order to finalise his future, with a number of clubs chasing the 26-year-old.
Roma were favourites to land the winger earlier in the summer but were unwilling to meet Leicester's valuation, leaving the door open for Arsenal and Barcelona among others.
Spanish news outlet AS claim Barca are eyeing Mahrez as an alternative to Philippe Coutinho, while the Gunners want a replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez.
Several other Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have also been linked with a last-minute approach for the Foxes star, and fans on Twitter have been demanding their team make a move.
Twitter user @imadbabouri shared a selfie of Mahrez this morning, claiming the Algerian was at an airport in Paris as rumours of PSG entering the fray gather pace.
